General Inquiries

You’ll meet your captain and crew when you arrive! While they prep the boat, you can hand over food, drinks (beer is allowed!), and any extra layers. Now’s also the time to put on waterproof boots and take care of any remaining payments.

When it’s time, we’ll load up in the van for a short ride to the tractor launch. Once on the water, the crew will check your fishing license and go over safety. Then, we’re off! Keep an eye out for otters, seals, puffins, and even whales along the way. Once we reach our spot, we’ll anchor and drop lines.

Yes. We do not provide food and drinks, so please bring your own.

Alaska’s summer weather changes fast. Dress in layers. Start with waterproof boots, pants, and a jacket. Underneath, wear a few layers ending in a t-shirt in case the sun comes out. Don’t forget gloves, a hat, and sunglasses.

If you’re not used to the open ocean, it’s better to be safe than sorry. We don’t provide motion sickness meds, but local stores carry them. You might also look into patches, wristbands, or other remedies before your trip.

We have dry storage under the seats for valuables. A good camera is great for capturing your catch!

When you’re not fishing or exploring, check out Old Ninilchik Village! Ninilchick is known for its clamming during the summer, too. Head to Ninilchik State Recreation Area or Deep Creek State Recreation Area at low tide to dig for razor clams!
